Winoca Fest not only provides for an excellent outlet for local and nationally touring bands, but also to raise awareness about non-profits within the community.  As many as thirty groups will be at Winoca Fest to explain their projects and to promote their messages to the community.

Winoca Fest boasts a diverse lineup that taps into some of North Carolina's finest acts such as the Americana-Rock goodness of Onward, Soldiers, the always breath-taking folk duo of Mandolin Orange, one of the Triangle's finest indie-rock bands, Hammer No More The Fingers, and the Carolina powerhouses of The Old Ceremony.  Taking these excellent local artists and putting them on the same bill as Those Darlins, The Felice Brothers, and Gillian Welch will make for an incredible day full of music in downtown Wilmington.  It's not very often that you can look at a lineup and be thoroughly excited for every single band listed but Winoca Fest has just that.  With music starting at noon, look to Winoca Fest for a day full of awesome sights and sounds in the beautiful waterfront area of downtown Wilmington.
