MGMT is one of the headliners for Moogfest in Asheville |
For the past few weeks there has been a lot of buzz about the first Moogfest, a 3 day festival in Asheville, North Carolina, which is put on by the Moog synth company on Halloween weekend. The preliminary lineup announcement with MGMT, Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Big Boi, Jonsi, and Caribou came out and got everyone excited for what Moogfest would have in store for the festival goers. The lineup was announced this morning and is as followed:

Tickets will be going on sale on August 13th (that's this Friday) with ticket prices ranging from $75 for single day passes, $150 for the weekend, and $350 for a VIP pass. Moogfest will be held in multiple venues in Asheville such as The Orange Peel, the Asheville Civic Center, and Thomas Wolfe Auditorium.
